Throughout May here in the United Kingdom we enjoyed far more sunshine than we are used to for the time of year, and it certainly made a welcome change. For many of us, the arrival of the warmer weather usually prompts a shopping trip to stock up on sunscreen and sunglasses in preparation for lots of time outdoors, but for others this early summer weather signals the return of the annual nightmare known as the hay fever season.
